Passport to Employment
" Passport to Employment is a program designed for individuals
55-64 who wish to re-enter the workforce. It is offered
through the Department of
Innovation and Advanced Learning. Participants increase
their job search skills (resume, cover letter and computer),
are given opportunities to
seek and find employment and identify personal and work
life changes that "rookie seniors" deal with during
this stage of life. The course will
be offered in Souris and begins March 8 to April 9th.
Participants receive a weekly stipend. There is an information
session scheduled
for Wednesday March 3 at 2:00pm in the Home Hardware
Building in Souris, Patti (Kent) Butler will be the Facilitator
for this program.
