The awards presentation was held at the Souris Legion.  Overall winner with the time of 1 hour, 40.1 minutes was the three member McCarthy family, Chris, Shawn and Dan.  2nd place winner was Scott Dickieson with the time of 1 hour, 47.22 minutes and 3rd place winners were The Fortune Organics team of Ryan McCarron, Karen Murchison, Becky Townshend and John Jamieson with a time of 1 hour, 51.01 minutes.

The top Youth Team was The Tigers, a two member local team of Tomas Flynn and Cody Coffin.  The Iron Man winner was Scott Dickieson and Iron Lady winner was Ardelle Hynes.

The winner of the Glen Deveau Memorial trophy for the first place local competitor was Terence Dunphy, who also came in second in the Iron Man with a time of 1 hour, 55.01 minutes.

The 1st Souris Multi-Sport Relay was held in 1986. The idea was to bring together local athletes and encourage youth and adults to get physically fit. The route originally was throughout the country side from Souris to Fortune River and back to Souris. The route has now become more centralized with all three legs returning to the same starting point.

The Glen Deveau Memorial Trophy was initiated in 1993 in honor of Glen Deveau, who was a member of the winning local team for a number of years. The relay was coordinated by the Deveau Family since 1993 thru until 2006. After 14 years of leadership by the Deveau family, the event became part of the Souris Sea Fest and is organized by a local committee Chaired by Marguerite Arsenault.
