PEI Bluegrass and Oldtime Music Festival

Event Description:

• 4 day family oriented music event held each year during first full weekend of July

• Held at the "Field of Dreams" Festival Grounds in Rollo Bay, Near Souris, PEI

• Festival, location & hospitality combine to create a memorable event considered amongst premiere of its genre to attend in Canada

• Year 2007 marks its 22nd Anniversary

• Biggest Music Festival of its genre on PEI, one of the biggest of over 30 events of its genre in Eastern Canada

• Attendance of over 3000 tourists and fans from Eastern Canada and U.S.

• Over 700 Recreational Vehicles

• $75,000 Operating Budget, $52,000 Gate Receipts, Managed by a dedicated network of volunteers

• Most attendees after the event extend their stay on PEI and join new tourists at similar festival held on following weekend at Abram's Village, PEI
